What Family Caregivers Does

Family Caregivers is dedicated to providing and coordinating exemplary Adult Family care service for each of our clients, taking into account the complexity of each individual’s medical, psychosocial, and mental health needs. Our skilled team of professionals delivers personalized services in the comfort and convenience of your home. Our patients and their loved ones are at ease knowing their needs are being properly understood and addressed. We prioritize the well-being of each of our caregivers, clients, and clients’ loved ones, striving to minimize the impact of mental/physical challenges on their independence and quality of life.

Family Caregivers staff understands the need for compassionate In-Home healthcare as well as the impact it can have on improving quality of life. Our Registered Nurses and Case Managers will remain in regular contact with the caregiver and the client during monthly home visits, and ongoing one-on-one trainings are provided in order to ensure that the needs of both the caregiver and the client continue to be met.

Our Clients:

Feel safe, supported, and secure.
Our clients require specialized attention and support in order to maintain daily functioning. They may need Caregiver supervision or assistance with one of more of the following: bathing, dressing, eating, or managing specific behaviors. In order to qualify, clients must be 16 years of age or older and eligible for MassHealth Standard, MassHealth Commonhealth, One Care, and/or Tufts Total Health Plan.

In order to be a caregiver, one must be a qualified adult (18 years of age or older) family/friend of a client who is devoted to 24-hour supervision and care while living in the same home. They must also document their efforts on a daily basis.
